Hello! My name is Jodi and I am a featured photographer based out of St. Louis, Missouri! I'm a mother to 3 kids and 7 grandchildren! I was born in Peoria, Illinois, but my dad was military so I moved around and was raised in Nebraska. I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield and life insurance, however my passion is truly photography and I love everything about it. Outside of running my business, I love teaching myself guitar and piano and hanging out with my family.
My photography journey began 17 years ago when my sister encouraged me to take photos for people, because I noticed I wasn’t in many photographs myself and wanted other people to have pictures of all phases of their lives! I began photography by taking pictures of my family and helping one of my friends and mentors open up a studio. Ever since then, photography has been a big part of my life! I have worked with amazing couples, seniors, and families.
Working as a photographer for 17 years has been an exciting adventure! I love working with and building meaningful relationships with so many people from all over the United States. Photography makes me look at life in a whole different way and see beautiful things out of everything. It inspires me to look at things from a different perspective and find the beauty in all areas of life. I am passionate about what I do and love the people I work with. I love making people laugh and showing my families how to love on each other even if its just for a little bit of the time I have with them. They can be goofy and playful and by the end of each session they look at each other in a different, loving way. Hoping that it will create a memory they will embrace for a lifetime. My goal with photography is to continue creating moments just like that. I want to love on people all while capturing their essence and priceless memories.
